About the Author
Maureen Ann Flaherty (aka "Mo") is a writer, marketing consultant and actor. She has worked in corporate communications, for non-profit groups, and held some "interesting" jobs, such as forklift operator and acting the lead role in an Emmy-nominated short film, Radioman.
Her first book, "The Portable Sister," published by Andrews McMeel, was inspired by a phone conversation with her sister, when she said, "I wish I could put handles on you and carry you around with me." The little encouragement book, is like having a sister to cheer you on throughout the day. Mo lives in Bradenton, Florida with her energetic black lab, Theo. She describes herself as an "idea person" and splits her time between youth ministry and her company Mo Marketing.
